FUTURE offers an online database that brings together the educational activities offered by the members of Le Donne del Vino aimed at women under the age of 30 who are considering a career in wine.

Thanks to their experience and professionalism in the various sectors of the wine industry, with this project, Le Donne del Vino want to offer a tangible contribution to FUTURE wine managers and businesswomen.

Free vocational training in the world of wine

In the spirit of voluntary work and civic commitment, FUTURE has involved Le Donne del Vino in a project of testimony and teaching that touches every area of the winemaking chain, from the vineyard to consumption and communication. All 900 Donne del Vinowinemakers, wine store owners, restaurateurs, sommeliers, journalists and experts in the sector are invited to offer scholarships, internships, lessons, educational visits, educational workshops and training experiences, etc. on their estates or with their companies.
Educational opportunities capable of inspiring young women and giving them a greater awareness of the interdisciplinary skills currently required by the wine sector: from the ability to speak English to marketing, from digital communication to incoming wine tourism techniques, from oenology to hospitality. The project was conceived by Alessandra Boscaini, Delegate of Le Donne del Vino for Veneto and export manager at Masi Agricola. The young women involved in the project are not allowed to carry out any professional activity during these training experiences, apart from the cases and procedures envisaged by law for internships and apprenticeships.

THE FUTURE PROJECT WAS LAUNCHED IN 2019 AND IS PERMANENT IN NATURE. DUE TO THE CURRENT COVID-19 SITUATION, ALL OFFERS OF TRAINING HAVE BEEN TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED. THE EDUCATIONAL TUTORIALS OF LE DONNE DEL VINO CAN BE FOUND IN THE ACTIVITIES / FUTURE TUTORIAL SECTION OF THE WEBSITE.

We will soon be publishing new training offers from the companies and estates of La Donne del Vino in a user-friendly database divided by region. All training experiences will have to be coordinated directly with the structures in advance.

FUTURE aims to present work in the wine sector to young women as something interdisciplinary, qualified and capable of embracing innovation. It also intends to help reduce the current gender gap in salaries and career opportunities.
